When you create an account, we store your email address, display name, and profile information you choose to share (bio, city, avatar, Instagram handle).
When you use living., we store the content you create — stays, moments (photos, videos, notes), comments, and interactions (loves, follows, saves). Location data is only collected when you explicitly attach a location to a stay or moment.
We collect basic analytics events (session starts, feature usage) to improve the product. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.
Your data is used solely to provide the living. service — displaying your travel diary, enabling social features, and improving the app experience. We do not run ads or sell user data.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) and cloud storage services. Media files (photos, videos) are stored via Supabase Storage and Mux. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
You can edit or delete your content at any time within the app. You can delete your account entirely from the app settings, which will permanently remove your profile, stays, moments, and all associated data.
If you need assistance with your data, contact us at the address below.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and auth), Mux (video processing), Google Places API (location search), and Expo/EAS (mobile app distribution). Each service has its own privacy policy.
